Fine Grain Universal Powder Film Developer A 03
A 03 is a 2 part powder Film developer, designed to process B&W Negative Films of different Film speed but in one process at nearly same processing time. Processing in A 03 developer leads to Negatives with fine grain structure at medium contrast.
A 03 can be used for manual and automatic processing with Standard times as well as for “push” process.
A 03 is comparable with products like Agfa Refinal M, Ilford Microphen or Tetenal Ultrafin SF.

All times listed above are values for orientation; processing unit: tray, tin, ...; Contrast: medium (g=0,65).
To get maximum Film speed or to higher nominal Film speed "pushing" of process is possible. Notice: When "pushing" negatives higher contrast and lower resolution power (caused by bigger grains in negative structure) are obtained. If negatives with high balance in contrast and grain are required, then developer can be used in dilution of 1 + 1.

At processing temperatures lower or higher than 20°C, prolong or reduce processing time, as follows:
- at 18°C prolong by appr. 20%
- at 22°C reduce by appr. 15%
- bei 25°C reduce by appr. 35%
Capacity
A 03 works without replenisher. Up to 10 film rolls size 135-36 or size 120 can be processed in 1 Litre of working solution in normal dilution.
Beginning with third film and then each film following, processing time has to be prolonged by 1 minute.
When diluting Standard working solution 1 + 1, processing time must be prolonged by 1 minute per film beginning with second film already. In 1 Litre of 1 + 1 diluted Standard working solution can be processed nearly 7 to 8 film rolls size 135-36 or size 120.
